Harold Nono lives and works in Edinburgh, Scotland. He has recorded three albums to date for UK label, Bearsuit Records – and has just finished recording an album with musician/composer Hidekazu Wakabayashi (www.myspace.com/hidekazuwakabayashi). This album, simply entitled “Harold Nono/Hidekazu Wakabayashi” is due out on Bearsuit Records in December 2009.
He has also recorded an album “Bedtime Stories” with German musician and producer, Me Raabenstien under the moniker Taub. (www.myspace.com/taubltd). This album was released on the German label, Nonine Recordings in 2008. He has contributed to numerous compilation albums and recently remixed the song “Shut My Soul” by Serbian artist PNDC (www.mypsace.com/pndc) This track features on PNDCs’ latest album “Secondhand language”.
Nono is also a member of O.E.S (Orchestra Ecletticae Syncretistic) – a loose collective of international musicians set up by Italian, Marco Lucchi (www.myspace.com/orchestraecletticaesincretista). This collective sporadically release material on the label, Webbed Hands Records.
Harold Nonos’ fourth solo album – as yet untitled – will be released on Bearsuit Records in 2010.
